PURPOSE:

To provide reporting information on the activity of dial in users being authenticated by RADIUS. Reports available are:

  • Account Activity Summary
  • Account Activity Detail
  • Port Usage by Hour

Input & Setup

This data is extracted from your RADIUS log files which you may simply FTP and import into AUDIT.

Both of the Activity reports allow you to specify a range of dates as well as the starting ending user name.

Account Activity Detail

This report also allows you to specify a range of dates as well as the starting and ending user name.

The report details each session denoting the following

  • User ID
  • Date
  • Time
  • Caller ID
  • Duration of the call
  • Connect Speed
 

 

Account Activity Summary

This report details the number of sessions that all users who have successfully logged into the server and that have been authenticated by radius.

It denotes both the first and last dates when the user logged in. Additionally, both the number of sessions and total connect time for the current WTD ( Week To Date ), MTD ( Month To Date ) and YTD ( Year To Date ) are noted.
 

 

Port Usage by Hour

To assist in tracking usage of any ASCEND MAX 4xxx unit, we have devised a report to show activity by the hour for each port.

If a port was active ONCE during a given period, then an X is placed in the cross position of the PORT and HOUR.

A port could have been active for only 1 second or for the complete hour. Regardless of the number of connections using the port, it will be reported.
